When I started oil painting it was only as a hobby. I didn't go into it with the idea of selling my work. Recently my daughter started prodding me into displaying paintings where she works. She received a lot of very positive feed-back and thought that I should be selling them instead of giving them away. It's an expensive hobby so I had to agree with her.

I have been an artist my entire life. Since I can remember, it was all I ever wanted. As a child, I drew stick-figures of horses which evolved later on to childish sketches. I loved horses more than anything and wanted them for myself--so I drew them. My fathers encouragement, I believe, may have been what kept the fire of the "Artist" burning in my soul. I am an Artist simply because this is what God has given me to be...

I would describe myself as a multi-media Artist. I have been painting for 20 years. I love painting in Oil. Acrylic, Watercolor and Pencil. I love painting wildlife, Seascapes, Portraits, and Landscapes. I teach art classes and enjoy spending time with other people who love art.

My unique brand of artwork defies categorization. I describe my work as "Emotionistic" and is distinctively my own style. I aim to capture both the feel and texture of the landscape as well as the action of the moment. I work in oils.
